My vacation to six flags in St. Louis, to many it may seem like a boring everyday place,but, it was fun for me. My family, friends and I visited St. Louis two summers ago to celebrate our yearly family reunion.This trip was very important to us, vacations are just one of the many ways you can spend time with your loved ones.
Summer vacations is one of our family traditions, this is something we make it our business to do once every summer in order to keep in contact and enjoy each others company.I know a lot of people who do not know their families and wish they had a chance to do things with them. Value every moment with your family because if you did not have them it you would wish you did. I feel bad for those who take their families for granted, these people will miss them when their gone so take advantage of every moment.
To get back to the topic of my St Louis vacation this was the summer of '05' I was 16 years old. This was not my first time going to six flags but it was the first time I had ever been to St. Louis, I loved it.
We left on Friday afternoon on a bus we rented because of course there were a lot of us going. On the ride there we watched movies, listened to music, played games, ate, and slept, there is not much else you can do on a four hour ride. Arrival time is Friday night around seven o'clock, check into hotel and it's time to hit the pool even though I can not swim I go sit in the water and play and joke around with everyone. Once we leave the pool we eat dinner and everyone is headed off to their rooms.
Saturday morning is here time to get dressed and go out for breakfast, this is my favorite meal of the day. After breakfast we are headed to six flags to get our day started.We arrive at about eleven o'clock to some very long lines it did not take long to get in but for those of us who wanted get on those rides we had hour long waits.I rode a lot of exciting rides like the batman, Mr. Freeze the boss and my favorite the superman. After we ride for a few hours it is time to eat, I'm starving, to the concession stands we go. This food is so high but what do you expect at an amusement park they are all high. We eat walk around the park and take pictures after we finish we all meet in a designated area and go to our bus. Riding again we go to the movies I can't quite remember what we went to see but I'm sure it was a good movie. Now back to our hotel for bed.
Sunday morning is here this is the last of our trip so we are going to make it the best. First,breakfast then we will be headed to the mall for a day of shopping. I buy lots clothes, shoes, purses and other things for myself. I will also purchase a few things for people with upcoming birthdays. We are all done shopping the trip is almost over the bus ride will be the ending of it all. I will go home enjoy the summer until its time for school then prepare to do it again.
